Take a stroll down any supermarket’s ‘feminine hygiene section, and you’ll be shocked at the variety of menstrual products now available.
Therefore, don’t be shocked if you find yourself completely overwhelmed by the variety of pads and tampons available in the menstruation products department of the supermarket.
It has gotten extremely sophisticated for a product that merely absorbs blood! As a non-coffee drinker, it’s akin to ordering coffee in a coffee shop! It’s quite daunting and tempting to walk out and put it off till another day!
Different Types of Menstrual Products To Use
While there are numerous period products available, it comes down to pads and tampons at the end of the day. Alternatively, period pants (which are the best period product for beginners). They are so delicious that I’ll begin with them!
Period pants

So Which Pads Are the Greatest For A First Period?
That is entirely up to you, as everything is unique. Additionally, selecting pads is no longer straightforward. Today, there are a plethora of additional possibilities.
Your youngster will need to try on several different styles until you choose which are the most comfortable for them to wear.
Among the several pad possibilities are the following:

- varying thicknesses – ultrathin/thin / evening
- Various absorbency – light / moderate / super / overnight
- Various sizes – teenagers / extra-long / slender

Typically, pads are secured in place by a sticky adhesive strip beneath the pad (which you wear on your pants, not your vulva). The wings that come with various pads are likewise adhesive and serve to secure the pad in place (fold the wings down to the outside of the pants). You can now purchase teen-specific sanitary pads and even tween-specific sanitary pads.
